Traditional grid sampling places samples at fixed intervals regardless of actual soil variability. Xsupra uses integrated spectral signals from satellite imagery collected across seasons to create management zones that reflect real agronomic structure (moisture patterns, soil formation, landscape position). Each zone represents an area with consistent environmental behavior. One representative sample per zone produces fewer total samples with better spatial representation.

Laboratory results are then extended across the entire field using environmental similarity modeling — not distance-based interpolation. This produces continuous soil property maps (phosphorus, potassium, pH, magnesium, organic matter, and all farmer-measured properties) that reflect real field structure rather than artificial smoothing. The sampling method follows German legal requirements for soil sampling.

Soil property maps are classified into fertilization zones. Areas with similar nutrient levels receive the same application rate. The result is a structured VRA map that is agronomically sound and compatible with precision spreading equipment. Export formats include ISOXML.
